TOWNSHIP CLEAN UP DAYS

Dump Day – Saturday, August 10th, 2024, from 8:00 am to 12 noon.

You can bring your recycling, plus a maximum of 4 yards of junk, per a household from Alamo Township. You will be bringing it to “Waste Not” Recycling at the corner of Ravine Rd and Nichols Rd. Address is 3025 Ravine Rd, Kalamazoo, 49004. This is FREE for our residents. Your ID’s will be checked.

ACCEPTING

Regular recycling, cardboard, cans, clean plastic containers, metal, will be accepted on these dates, anything else will be considered junk.  

APPLIANCES

With Freon must be removed by a Certified Tech and must be tagged.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED

  • Tires
  • Electronics including TV’s,, & Batteries
  • Oil Based Paint
  • Florescent Bulbs
  • Dirt, Rocks, Concrete, Asphalt, Asbestos or Asphalt Shingles
  • Motor Oil
  • Styrofoam
  • Yard Waste/Debris
  • Acids, Herbicides, Pesticides, Pool Chemicals, Latex Paint, (will be accepted if opened and mixed with kitty litter/oil dry)
